My Bio

Remi Webster is a rising actor to watch. She is best known for her role in the internationally award-winning horror movie Remnant (2023). Remi and the cast of Remnant won Best Acting Ensemble at the 2024 VIFF Film Festival in Italy. Within Australia, Remnant won Best Picture at the 2024 Melbourne Cineverse Film Festival. The actor is perfect for the everywoman type, described as having “a strong and engaging screen presence.”

Remi has an incredible range of credentials, from feel-good comedy to heart- wrenching drama. Remi’s lead role in the gritty drama Sixteen Minutes (2022) earned her the Best Actor Award at the 2022 UC Film Awards. In 2021, the actor won the Most Memorable Performance Award for her role in the dark comedy Thanks for Coming (2021) at the Lights Canberra Action Film Festival.

Remi has often been likened to a young Kate Winslet! The actor’s emotional performances are fuelled by an unwavering compassion that is undoubtedly her strong suit. Remi continues her training through private coaching with Emily Joy and has worked with various top coaches, including Les Chantery, Lisa Robertson and Miranda Harcourt.

The Actor is skilled in contemporary singing and ceramics, specialising in wheel- thrown pottery. With several projects in the works, Remi looks forward to building her on-screen repertoire.

On Set

Obviously being on set is the best part of the job. I thrive in the high pressure space that is independent film in Australia. My focus is always on the work and on the amazing people I have the privilege of creating alongside. I love being a part of a team.
