Remi Webster is a rising star to watch. The actor is best known for her role in the internationally award-winning horror movie Remnant (2024), which has won over 150 awards worldwide, attaining Australian and US distribution. Remi’s performance earned her a finalist spot for Best Australian Supporting Performance at the 2024 AFIN Film Festival. Internationally, Remi and the cast of Remnant won Best Acting Ensemble at the 2024 Italian VIFF and Best Cast at the European Film Critics Awards. The actor is perfect for the everywoman type, described as having a “strong and engaging screen presence.”

Remi has an incredible range of credentials. Most recently, her lead role in Anemoia (2024), which debuted through MIFF Play, challenged her to master an Eastern European accent. Remi’s lead role in the gritty drama Sixteen Minutes (2022) earned her the Best Actor Award at the 2022 UC Film Awards. In 2021, the actor won Most Memorable Performance for her comedic role in Thanks for Coming (2021) at Enlighten.

Remi has been likened to a young Kate Winslet! The actor has worked with top coaches Lisa Robertson and Miranda Harcourt and continues her training through classes with Les Chantery and coaching with Emily Joy.

Additionally, Remi is a singer and visual artist. Remi looks forward to building her on-screen repertoire in 2025.

Obviously being on set is the best part of the job. I thrive in the high pressure space that is independent film in Australia. My focus is always on the work and on the amazing people I have the privilege of creating alongside. I love being a part of a team.
